What You Need to Work From Home
Independent agents must meet every item below. Most people already have half of it at home. These reflect the current Arise platform standards (effective 2026) — some client programs may ask for more.
Computer
A desktop or laptop that meets the Arise platform specifications.
- Windows 11 — genuine copy, fully updated (Macs no longer supported)
- Intel Core i3 (9th gen) / AMD Ryzen 3 or better — no ARM chips
- 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended), 20 GB free disk space
- USB 3.0 port for your headset
- No Chromebooks, tablets, netbooks, or virtual machines
USB Headset
Clear audio is non-negotiable — customers need to hear every word.
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- Required for training class and most client programs
- Noise-cancelling microphone preferred

Internet Connection
A stable, hard-wired connection keeps your calls crystal clear.
- Hard-wired ethernet from your PC to the router
- At least 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload (30/10 recommended)
- Latency under 120 ms
- Wireless / Wi-Fi connections not permitted
- No VPNs, hotspots, satellite, or 5G internet
Phone Service
A dedicated phone line for servicing client programs.
- Hard-wired telephone + headset for programs that require it
- Phone connects directly to your router/modem or wall jack
- No softphones or computer-based calling apps
- No voicemail or fax features on your servicing line
Secure Desktop
Some client programs run inside Arise Secure Desktop.
- Secure workspace software that installs on your Windows PC
- Keeps client data protected while you work from home
- No virtual machine software (VMware, Parallels, etc.)
- No third-party VPN, proxy, or privacy software
Quiet Workspace
A dedicated home office space that stays silent on calls.
- Door that closes, free from background noise
- No interruptions during scheduled hours
- Smartphone with camera for security verification steps
Eligibility
The basics every agent must meet.
- 18 years or older
- Valid to work in the USA
- Pass the basic voice assessment
- Pass the typing speed test
Eligible States
You can service clients through the Arise platform if you reside in a state where Arise is actively sourcing. Arise does not operate in every state.
